Tidewater Writers is dedicated to supporting and nurturing writers (we include writers of fiction, non-fiction poetry, plays, and essays). We are a friendly and rather laid back group that focuses on providing helpful critiques and general knowledge about the publishing process. Our typical meeting includes 4-10 of the regulars and a similar number of new people and/or the irregulars who come when they can.
This group is for people who write music of all genres, all types. Bring a small clip, lyrics, your ideas and we can share our music with each other. We critique. never criticize. We also discuss and learn about recording technology, live audio, performing, instrumentation, orchestration and other ways to make money, making music.
