Rochester Writers' Group brings together area writers for critique sessions. To become a member, you must submit a sample of your writing (e.g. an entire short story, chapter of a novel, etc). You do not need to have been previously published, but you do need to have been crafting your work -- notes, ideas, outlines are not sufficient. No one can give you effective feedback if there isn't enough characterization, plot, style development or polish to be able to comment on strong and weak areas. …
